Small Wonder Playhouse Play Programmes

INfant/Baby Daycare & Stimulation Programme:

Adult/baby ratio - 3 children to a caregiver.  Infants are bathed, fed (formula/breastmilk) and cared for in a clean, secure and loving environment.  In their waking hours, they are exposed to visual stimulation, auditory stimulation and physical stimulation. In a bright and cheery nursery room, your infant will flourish from the care she receives. Air-conditioning for sleep time can be arranged according to parents' preference.

During their waking hours, crawlers may explore their 'den'.  Safely padded for falls etc, the babies' play-den is an exciting place for babies of crawling/cruising age to explore with plenty of toys to mouth and discover.  Toys hygienically cleaned after every exploration time.  The play-den is air-conditioned.

During their sleeping hours, babies are put to sleep in cots or infant seats as requested by the parent.  Food is hygienically prepared and blended/pureed/chopped according to babies needs.  Air-conditioning for sleep time can be arranged according to parents' preference.

Junior School Programme  & Daycare(optional):

Adult/baby ratio - 5 children to a caregiver.  In the mornings, the toddlers are joined by other toddlers who may/may not be part of the full daycare programme.  The toddlers have their breakfast, followed by structured activity according to the theme determined by the Playhouse.  The programme used by Small Wonder Playhouse is similar to the programme used at Small Wonder Children's House in the Yellow Group.  This is followed by lunch and a shower.  The Play programme ends here, and the children staying on for daycare go on to have a nap and afternoon play activities upon awakening. The activity area for indoor activities for the toddlers is air-conditioned.

Toddler-friendly food is prepared for the toddlers' breakfast, morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack. Air-conditioning for sleep time can be arranged according to parents' preference.
